Art & Hobby Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions of this website are provided by The Art & Hobby Group, which is registered in Ireland as Star School Supplies Ltd. Your use of this website constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Art & Hobby Group may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the website. Changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately when they are posted on the website. We reserve the right to close any, or all, of the website at any time, and to amend or correct any website content, with or without prior notice.

Description of Products & Imagery
Each product on this website is listed subject to change of imagery or description at any time. We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was posted on the website. Products may vary to images online. 


Payments are processed through Realex or  PayPal, so you can log in at the checkout if you have a PayPal account or you can pay by credit card without an account. PayPal is one of the Internet's most trusted payment facilitators – please see PayPal‘s Security information for more details.

The Art & Hobby Group takes the security of your details very seriously, and have taken every precaution to ensure your transaction is secure.

When you purchase online with Artnhobby.ie, Realex or PayPal looks after your payment & delivery details. Please see PayPal‘s privacy policy for more information. We are sent the delivery details you entered so that your order can be despatched. We keep these details securely for the period of time in which your order is processed and despatched and delivery is complete.


Items that are faulty or damaged can be returned to any Art & Hobby store with proof of purchase.

You may be charged an additional re-shipping cost for any exchanges made or received.

If you receive the wrong order you will not be charged for additional re-shipping if you wish to have the correct items sent.

Art & Hobby will not refund customers until we receive the goods back in any of our stores and have been accessed and deemed unopened or damaged by our Managers.

Please note you may not be refunded your shipping cost if you wish to refund your items once they have been delivered.

All online refunds will be processed back through STRIPE. You will not be refunded in store this may take 3-5 working days.

You will need to bring a copy of your web order as proof of purchase to any Art & Hobby store. This will have been emailed after an online purchase was made to the email you provided. (Screen Shots / Pictures will not be accepted)


The Exit Toy range delivery takes 7-14 working days. Art & Hobby do not hold the stock in any store or warehouse, we have the items shipped directly from our Supplier to customers.

If you wish to cancel an Exit Toys product you must write to [email protected] within 3 working days of placing the order - once the item is shipped the order cannot be cancelled untill delivered to Ireland.

As Exit Toy items are dropshipped directly from the supplier to the customer any refunds given will be deducted the cost of returning said Exit Toys items to the supplier.

Due to the nature of the Exit Toys product range, we cannot issue a refund or exchange unless the products are damaged or faulty. All faulty items must be declared with photo imagery withing 3 days of delivery.

You have no grounds for redress if:

  • You were told about the defect before you bought the item (for example, if the goods were marked 'shopsoiled')
  • You examined the item before you bought it and should have seen the defect
  • You bought the item knowing that it wasn’t fit for what you wanted it to do
  • You broke or damaged the product
  • You made a mistake when buying the item (for example, if you bought an item of clothing thinking it was black when it is actually navy)
  • You change your mind

Retailers are not obliged to give refunds or credit notes under the above circumstances even if you show proof of purchase.

As Exit Toy items are dropshipped directly from the supplier to the customer any refunds given will be deducted the cost of returning said Exit Toys items to the supplier.


The prices quoted are those valid at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alteration to the rate of value-added tax.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

All prices on this site are quoted in and include VAT.

Order Confirmation

You will be notified by e-mail as soon as we receive your order. Please ensure that you enter your e-mail address on the order form. If we have any queries regarding your order we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.

Goods Out of Stock

If you place an order and the goods are out of stock we will inform you ASAP via email or telephone. Occasionally, we may run out of stock on popular items - if, for this reason, we cannot dispatch your order we will contact you with a revised dispatch date. If your order contains multiple items, we can either wait for the out of stock item to arrive and ship everything together or ship the order separately. Either way, we will contact you.

Products seen on the web-store may not be in every store and the vice versa. If you have any queries regarding stock availability please contact [email protected]


Our normal delivery charges are as follows:
Within the Republic of Ireland: €5.00 per order under €50. Free shipping on orders over €50 within the Republic Of Ireland.

All orders are despatched within 3-5 working days, except for products in the Outdoor Toys category, which will be despatched within 10 working days.

You may receive multiple boxes for your order which may be delivered on different days, this may be due to stock having to be sent from multiple stores.

For any reason you have not received your order within 3-5 working days please contact [email protected] or call 01 456 5310. The most likely case is that DPD our third-party logistics company could not reach you at your home address, this may be due to no one at home upon delivery.

The Art & Hobby Group reserves the right to alter without prior notice any content found on this Web site. The Art & Hobby Group and any other party involved in making this site available to you are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of its being accessed or used. The Art & Hobby Group assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for any damages or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property in any way, shape or form as a direct result of accessing this Web site.

Your Obligations

You Agree That:

  • Any information provided by you will be true, accurate, current and complete and confirm that you are the authorised holder of any credit/debit card you may use on the website, to notify us immediately of any changes to any information you have submitted to the website, to be available for delivery and to take delivery of any products ordered by you from the site.
  • This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and The Art & Hobby Group with respect to the use of the website.
  • These provisions (terms, conditions, disclaimers and exclusions) shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
