Step 1
Flatten your cardboard tubes and colour them in using markers. Using a scissors, cut your cardboard tube into 4 rings for the butterfly or 5 rings for the flower.
Step 2
Using a glue gun, apply glue around the edge of the tube. Next, press the tube down against your chosen coloured cellophane sheet.
Allow the glue to dry and cut the excess cellophane along the edge of the tube.
Glue the tube parts together using a glue gun.
Step 3
Cut a piece of cord for hanging, make a loop and tie the ends together with a knot.
Glue the knot between two of the leaves on the flower. Put a dab of glue on the lolipop stick and attach the butterfly to it.
Step 4
To create the butterfly's antennae - Cut a piece of pipe cleaner of around 10 cm. Fold the piece in half and shape the ends into antennae.
Glue the antennae onto the back of the lollipop stick so that they stick out above the head. Draw a set of eyes on the butterfly using a decorative marker.
