This Halloween is forecast to see covens of green witches on their brooms trick-or-treating, thanks to the global phenomenon WICKED. Follow our step-by-step Snazaroo face painting guide to create a simple Wicked Witch of the West look that will make you stand out from the crowd.

3 Step Guide

Step 1

Take your Snazaroo Hi Density Sponge and wet it lightly before dabbing it in the Snazaroo Bright Green Face Paint. Sponge the green paint all over your face as evenly as possible, but make sure you avoid your mouth and eyes. Let the paint dry before wetting your sponge again. This time, take a dab of your Snazaroo Grass Green Face Paint. Sponge the grass green paint all over your face again, but make sure to leave an outline of the bright green paint. You should be left with a Bright Green Classic Face Paint Frame surrounding the Snazaroo Grass Green Face Paint. If you like, you can then add a little bit of Snazaroo Bright Yellow on top to lighten up your look.

Step 2

Wet your Snazaroo Fine Flat Brush and take some Snazaroo Classic Black Face Paint. Draw five curved lines above each eyebrow. The lines should decrease in size as you reach the end of your eyebrow to give a cobweb effect. Make sure your lines curve slightly towards your temples. Then, join each line together with a curved horizontal line. You should see a cobweb shape by now! Once your cobwebs have dried a little, draw a tiny spider hanging in the middle of your forehead. If you're unsure about your spider drawing skills, don't worry—a witch's spider should look a little bizarre and extraordinary!

Step 3

And for the final touches, use your fine brush and Snazaroo Classic Black Paint again to add a little spider hanging from its web down the side of your face. You can be as creative as you like to finish your Wicked Witch of the West look by adding some stars, dots, or even some wand sparks to your cheeks, nose, and anywhere you think looks extra bewitching!

Top Tip: If you want to add some sparkle to your witch face paint, try swapping a Snazaroo Classic Face Paint for a Snazaroo Sparkle Face Paint!

Without even casting a spell, you've magically transformed into the Wicked Witch of the West. Once you grab your black hat and broom, you're ready to fly!
