Do you want to learn how to make pumpkins, skeletons and spiders out of fuse beads.?
This guide will help you create two Halloween themed fuse bead projects. Hang the figures together as a garland or have the spider crawl around as a decorative Halloween decoration.
Step 1
Print out our Halloween fuse bead template on an A4 page. Place the peg board on top of the desired design and fill with fuse beads.
Step 2
Place baking paper over the finished design and iron the peg board over medium heat. Carefully remove the design from the board and iron lightly on the other side.
Step 3
Thread some thin satin ribbon through each of the finished designs to make a spooky garland. Repeat the figure pattern again and again with more fuse beads following steps 1 & 2 until you have a full length garland.
Step 4 (Optional)
Cut two pipe cleaners in half to make four pieces of equal length. Cut each piece in half again to make eight pieces of equal length.
Step 5 (Optional)
Remove the outer plush from each pipe cleaner piece to expose the wire and help attach the legs to the fuse bead design. Thread the legs through a bead on the spider’s body from the front to the back as shown below.
Bend the end and twist it around the leg to secure it. Repeat all the way around so you have four legs on each side.
Step 6 (Optional)
Glue two wiggly eyes to the head of the spider. Bend the legs twice as shown, so that your spider can stand and be used as decoration.
